Epilogue
13 Oct. Shiratori Hut - Oyashirazu
Finally, the last day of this journey. Oh I don't wanna finish...

It drizzled when I started with 3 other hikers, whom I had met at Asahi Hut. The sky was dark but I was delighted to walk with friends. The leaves were wet in the rain and looked much more vivid.
As we went further, the bush got thicker and I couldn't get an outlook on to the Sea. After a few hours of bush walking, I happened to notice that I could see the sea behind the stems of the trees. Almost there!!
There was a steep downhill just before I got to the coast. I could clearly hear the wave there, even smell the Sea. And finally I came to the other side of Japan.

It was 42nd day since I started from Mochimune Beach on Pacific ocean, the other side. I finished my journey from a sea to another through Japanese Alps.
I saw so many things and met a lot of people with all different back ground in this 42 days hiking. But when I reflect on this journey, only two things come up in my mind; the preciousness of encounters and the beauty of the Earth..
I met many people in this 42 days. All those encounters were memorable and they gave me lots of love and energy to continue walking.
And when I was walking alone, I always remembered the faces of my friends and family. I remembered trivial things, some happenings which I experienced with my friends... All those memories made me smile and feel warm.
It made me realize that I am made of the people I have met. I realized I have been given so much love, I'm filled with all those love. All the people I've met and all the experiences are living in my body.
I have to thank all the encounters.
Also I was deeply moved by the beauty of this planet. Everything I saw in this 42 days was beautiful. The green forest with thick moss, clear water running through swamps, soft and warm color of sunrise...
The nature is powerful and beautiful, and it always surprises us. We always find something new in the wilderness.
But at the same I felt the power of the nature, I found the nature is so fragile. All the lives have their roles to play in the beautifully designed knit of the ecosystem and interact each other. Once we broke the balance of the nature, it might be destroyed so badly that it would never recover. So we have to appreciate all the lives and protect and leave the nature as it as much as possible so that our next generations can enjoy this world as us.
We have a right to enjoy the blessing of the nature, and it's our duty to protect the nature. We always consume the resources which the nature produces so we should be more humble.
Anyway, the Earth is sooooo beautiful and I love the nature more after this hiking. The more we play outdoors, the more we love and appreciate the nature, I think. So let's go out, love the nature and be humble to the planet!
